Health and Wellbeing Board Strategy Index
The purpose of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy Index is to measure the progress of Surrey’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy against a set of priority outcomes and to highlight areas within Surrey that are performing well or poorly overall on certain social and health outcomes. The index measures these outcomes as a combined basket because improvement comes from working together as a partnership and the Health and Wellbeing Board is committed to joint efforts to create the best conditions for physical and mental health and well-being. This includes addressing the wider determinants of health – such as housing, the economy, the environment – and the index enables partners to do this by providing a holistic view of where communities are doing well, and where inequality exists.
The tool is presented in an interactive dashboard below and offers user several ways to drill down into the data, including the ability to choose between multiple levels of geography. The dashboard is also available at Health & Wellbeing Strategy Index | Tableau Public
A video tutorial explaining how to navigate around the dashboard is also available at the bottom of this page.
