Census 2021 UK Armed Forces Veterans (Data Tables)

For the first time, the Census specifically collected information on the UK armed forces veterans.

UK armed forces veteran = People who have previously served in the UK armed forces. This includes those who have served for at least one day in the UK armed forces: either regular, reserves, or Merchant Mariners who have seen duty on legally defined military operations.

A summary of the UK armed forces veteran data for Surrey is also available on Surrey-i. This page includes the Surrey-specific data from the national 2021 Census release which has been prepared by the SCC Population Insight team.
