Ethnicity is a difficult characteristic to measure which means that the national Census is often relied on to provide us with a good picture of ethnic groups.

The dashboard on this page looks into the ethnic group variable further in combination with other characteristics. For example, this dashboard also considers age, sex, religion, highest qualifications, economic activity, industry, unpaid care, disability, place of birth, main language, and proficiency in English speaking.
