Census 2021 UK Armed Forces Veterans (Data Tables)

For the first time, the Census specifically collected information on the UK armed forces veterans.

UK armed forces veteran = People who have previously served in the UK armed forces. This includes those who have served for at least one day in the UK armed forces, either regular, reserves, or Merchant Mariners who have seen duty on legally defined military operations.

A summary of the UK armed forces veteran data for Surrey is also available on Surrey-i. This page includes the Surrey-specific data from the national 2021 Census release which has been prepared by the SCC Population Insight team.
