The Cost of Living Crisis in Surrey

The UK has been experiencing its biggest cost of living crisis in decades. Whilst inflation is no longer increasing at the steep rates experienced in recent years, costs are still increasing, and that’s on top of significant annual increases.

Surrey County Council and our partners across the county have seen more people coming to us for help with crisis support, energy problems and not having enough money to make ends meet than ever before. In this periodic report we summarise insights on how the crisis is affecting our residents and businesses.
