Street Lights

CSV file detailing all publicly maintained streetlights within Surrey during 2015. All individual streetlights shown.

"assetno" field provides a unique identifier when grouped by "road name" / "road code" field. "aasetno" matches to physical sticker visible on each lamp post and can therefore be used in conjunction with "road name" / "road code" for fault reporting. Does not include illuminated street furniture (e.g. signs, bollards).

Many data fields unchanged from source format (e.g. utility companies). Compatible therefore with other streetlight publications (such as Salford).

Data lineage: Data provided from utility companies (SSE and UKPN). Basic ETL using iShare/postgres before hosting as CSV.
